Woman charged with drug possession, endangerment after traffic stop

ROCHESTER - An Eastside woman was arrested on Thursday night on reckless driving, drug and endangerment charges after police say she darted out of a side street onto busy Columbus Avenue.

The incident occurred around 9:05 p.m. near Kentucky Fried Chicken when an officer saw Jamie Bonner, 37, of Portland Street, enter Columbus Avenue amid close traffic heading in each direction.

During the traffic stop officers noticed a small child in the back seat and also that Bonner was in possession of an illegal drug believed to be methamphetamine.

She was charged with negligent driving, endangering the welfare of a child and drug possession.
