MANCHESTER - A Raymond woman was injured on Wednesday when she was ejected from her vehicle when it crashed on Interstate 93 in Manchester, the Dept. of Safety said on Thursday.

State Troopers responded around 4:10 p.m. after receiving reports that a white Jeep Wrangler was traveling erratically westbound on Route 101 in Manchester before continuing southbound on Interstate 93.

A trooper from Troop B located the vehicle as it entered the ramp for I-93 South and followed it for a short distance, but before they could conduct a stop the operator lost control of the vehicle as it cut across the highway and ultimately rolled over, according to a Dept. of Safety press release.

The driver of the vehicle who was ejected during the crash was identified as, Jessica Perkins, 40, of Raymond.

She was transported to Elliot Hospital in Manchester to be treated for what were described as serious, but non-life threatening injuries. A seven-year-old passenger in the vehicle was not injured in the crash.

Perkins was later arrested and charged with reckless conduct, endangering the welfare of child, reckless operation, and yellow/solid line violation. Perkins is scheduled to appear in the Manchester District Court at a later date.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, please contact Trooper Brett Romig at (603)223-4381 or Brett.A.Romig@dos.nh.gov.
