YORK, Maine - A York man died on Wednesday when his motorcycle collided with two other vehicles.

York police responded to the crash scene on the Spur Road around 4:30 p.m., where they found the operator of the motorcycle, Kyle Rockwood, no age given, deceased at the scene. The operators of the other two vehicles were not seriously injured, police say.

A brief investigation revealed that Rockwood was traveling east near the Interstate-95 northbound exit into York when a Nissan Rogue, driven by Dawn Hamdi, of Greenland, N.H., had just exited I-95 and was traveling across Spur Road to make a left turn to head west.

The motorcycle and Nissan collided in the middle of the intersection, according to safety officials.
Police said the impact pushed the motorcycle and Nissan into another lane where they both collided with a Toyota RAV 4, operated by Sason Bergman of Toronto, Canada, who was traveling west on the Spur Road.

A portion of Spur Road was closed for around two hours.
