Young Professionals group to meet with city's Economic Development chief

ROCHESTER - The Greater Rochester Young Professionals Networking Group has scheduled its next meeting for Tuesday when the

group will meet and hear from Karen Pollard, Rochester's Economic Development Manager from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Rochester City Annex.

Those attending will learn about economic development efforts in Rochester and how the city works to attract and retain businesses.

The Greater Rochester Young Professionals Group welcomes young professionals who are high school graduates to age 40. This group is designed for young professionals in the area to meet in a casual setting while networking with others and building their contact base.

By becoming involved, attendees will build a sense of community and belonging, build rapport with potential clients, expand their social interactions, and represent their company at various events and outings. Attendees do not need to be an employee of a member business to attend.
