Cocheco Valley Humane Society is holding their 4th annual indoor yard sale on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Somersworth High School Cafeteria. In addition to a lot of great items priced to sell, this fundraiser for the animals will include raffles, baked goods, retail items, and a visit from some adoptable animals.
Are you overwhelmed by the clutter in your house and looking to do a clean out? The shelter is in need of lots of donations to make this event possible. Books, clothing, and children's items are especially popular yard sale items. No large furniture, electronics, or old skis, please! Donations can be dropped off every Saturday leading up to the event at the Storage Barn on Sixth Street in Dover between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The shelter's storage unit is K40 and volunteers will be on hand to receive the donations. Items will not be accepted at the shelter. If you cannot bring donations during the scheduled drop off times, please contact Mary Goyette to make other arrangements.
