After careful consideration of what is involved in being a Selectman, Royce Heath has decided to throw his hat in the ring.  He is a Lebanon Maine native; spent his early childhood on Upper Barley Rd., then became a lifelong resident of Lower Guinea Rd.  Royce does not have political aspirations; his reason for getting actively involved in town governance is to help local area residents get necessary things done.

Mr. Heath submitted his name for the position at the Lebanon Town Clerk’s office. It then took less than 24 hours to secure the number of names necessary for his candidacy.  He turned in the signed petition for placement on the March 11th special election ballot and is now out letting folks know he is a contender.

For those of you who do not already know him, Royce, the son of Jane and the late Reginald Heath, is a 1970 graduate of Noble High School in North Berwick. Some further background is that he was employed by Waste Management at Turnkey Landfill in Rochester, NH.  Royce was later self-employed at E-R Garage Doors, LLC. doing numerous new installations and/or remodeling for his clients.

Currently, Royce is working at the Lebanon Transfer Station.

Through the years, he has done many odd jobs for his elderly neighbors and acquaintances as well as people in surrounding towns of Maine and N.H.  Royce will go out of his way to be of service to folks who need his skills and enjoys helping people with his many talents. Mr. Heath is well-liked by those who know him and deserves this endorsement!

I am Royce’s cousin and though I do not live nor work in the Lebanon area, I know him well and feel he deserves this endorsement. Royce is not one to toot his own horn, but being a lifelong Lebanon resident, he truly has a vested interest in his community!
