BARRINGTON - David A. Dufresne, Jr., 52, of Barrington, died Monday, August 15, 2016.

In a news story noting his death, his home town had been listed as Rochester.

He was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on August 22, 1963, the son of David A. and Mary E. (Van Wert) Dufresne of Rye.
David was a master plumber and owned his own plumbing and heating business. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, boating, and lobstering. David cared deeply for his family and friends. He was a kind, loving, warm and generous man who considered everyone he met a friend for life. If a friend was in need, David made a point to drop everything and lend a hand.
Besides his parents, survivors include his sister Lynn Weber and husband Matthew; brother Derek Dufresne and wife Crystal; nephews and niece, Benjamin and Brittany Weber and Gavin Dufresne; aunts Sally Nolan, Sandra Pare, Gail Hartranft and Pamela Malone; many cousins. David was predeceased by his loving companion, his Rottweiller Dozer.
