Lebanon man hurt in River Rd. motorcycle accident

SOUTH LEBANON - A Lebanon man was injured on Saturday evening when his motorcycle crashed into a tree on River Road after hitting the sand shoulder around 7 p.m.

The 50-year-old was thrown about 10-15 feet in the crash and was transported by Lebanon ambulance to Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester with what are believed to be nonlife-threatening injuries, according to a Lebanon Rescue press release.

The bike was a 2008 Harley Davidson Fatboy. It sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene of the accident near 220 River Road.

River Road was closed to all traffic for about 30 minutes while emergency crews worked at the scene.
