WILMOT - An Andover man died early today when the vehicle he was driving overturned on Route 11 in Wilmot and crashed into a utility pole.

The crash occurred in the area of 252 Route 11 around 4:25 a.m. when State Police say a Honda Fit driven by Jakob Reed, 26, was traveling east when it drifted off the roadway to the right, struck a concrete sewer cover and rolled before striking the utility pole.

Reed was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time police say it appears speed was a factor in this crash, however all aspects remain under investigation. Anyone that may have further information related to the crash, or who witnessed this crash, are encouraged to contact Trooper Matthew Gagnon at 603-223-6190 or email him at Matthew.P.Gagnon@dos.nh.gov
