ROCHESTER - From Johnny B. Goode to Freebird and everything in between, a Revolving Door of superb area musicians band together to slam out classic rock favorites from the ‘60s to the ‘90s at the Rochester Opera House Dance Party Bash on Friday, Sept. 27, at 8 p.m. (Doors open 7 p.m.).  The floor is flat (orchestra seats removed), so there’s lots of room for rockin’ with the band.

The night will be a celebration of the opening of our season and the great shows we have scheduled. Opening for Revolving Door is Rochester Opera House Executive Director Anthony Ejarque and his band The Toes.

Revolving Door Band bios:

Steve Canty on lead guitar and vocals is graduate of the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood CA and well-known for his studio work and gigs at the Palladium and the Roxy.  Now a resident of Eliot ME, Canty is a freelance sessions player.

John Bartlett on bass guitar was inspired to become a professional musician after watching the Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan Show.  John has since played all styles of music for over forty years in venues throughout New England and Canada.

Ian Phillips on drums has played with many groups with all types of musical styles. Son of a drummer, Ian began drum lessons at 8 and now, as a teacher, shares his passion for music with his students.
